Will an option ever be priced littler than the intrinsic value?

Discussion in 'Options' started by IronFist, Mar 25, 2021.

  1. If price is 1.15, for example, will a 1.50 put ever be less than .35?

How does this work for calls?

  2. For a situation where this is the case, how do you know what day of the week is best to sell put options?

Look at the longer-dated European style.

Puts are usually more expensive than calls so I highly doubt it.

dude you've made numerous posts of questions that could be answered with any newbie option valuation book. Seriously just look up "option valuation" or "option trading" at Amazon.com

Yes, if it's close to expiration and the synthetic is >spot.
