I didn't like the video itself (no offense), but I agree with you that the lockdown should last longer.
All because of the fact that most children with coronavirus disease is asymptomatic or symptoms expressed very poorly. This feature does children actually hidden carriers of an infection.
Specialists have examined about a thousand children from families where coronavirus was detected. As a result, it turned out that 10% of the minors tested are also carriers of infection, but none of them had any pronounced symptoms of the disease. Only seven children had a fever, but there was no cough, compressed breathing, or muscle pain as in adults.
In addition, well, one of the minors studied had no complications in the form of pneumonia. All this makes children potentially dangerous to adults, more vulnerable to coronavirus, experts say.
It is noted that children are carriers of the disease for some time after recovery. Even when most swabs have already shown that the child is healthy, fecal analysis has still given a positive result on COVID-19.
In this regard, the socialists noted that children need to stay in quarantine longer than adults, which minimizes the risk of spreading the infection among others.
