For further information about SIPC, please view the organization’s website: www.sipc.org.
hate to nag on the details BUT: 1. what is ultra-low latency and how is it measured? 2. what does "stable" mean and how is it measured? 3. when you say "latest in authentication technology" can I see how latest is determined? Would help us traders if you could address each specifically. Thanks
1. Out trading servers are at NY4 in NJ and provide very fast executions for a service where Lightspeed Trader is a desktop software. 2. https://www.lightspeed.com/news/lim...t-volume-trading-billions-in-march-and-april/ 3. We text your cell phone. I'm not sure about the back end to that. I did not write the text.
thank you so much so, so again might I please I ask: 1. what is ultra-low latency and how is it measured? or what is "provide very fast executions" and how is that measured? 2. your posted link provides no information 3. "I did not write the text" is not a good answer really. Anyway I will take as puffery for now and move on.
You can send hidden orders to any ECN but any hidden order will never get a rebate for adding liquidity and might get charged for taking.
I can answer question 2 and 3 from my observation: 2. My friend has account on Lightspeed, started day trading from Feb until now, from premarket to 4PM everyday and there is not a single day he got connection or order issue, even at opening time 9:30AM. Pretty solid, I have to say, since I got some laggy from IB during crazy days of March. 3. They requires 2FA, in my friend's case, Google Authenticator. This is just an industry's standard practice, not an advantage to say. For 1, as I tried to contact Lime, they have presence on NY4, (same DC as Nasdaq?) and if we use Lime, they co-locate our software (for example, automated trading) at the same rack, so the number of hops to exchange could be minimal. The price is not decent tho lol, but you get what you pay for, I guess. Someone claims the order execution speed is around 2-3ms (https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/whats-best-for-serous-ats-lightspeed-vs-rithmic-vs-das.264720) but it may be not 100% accurate. Even so, its so-called ULL is nothing compared to some HFT for sure. Lightspeed, as it's exchanged over the Internet, the speed is lower, but I believe it's on the same par with IB. As a side note, both softwares are terrible at charting lol. I personally don't have any affiliation with Lightspeed/Lime, I dont have account with them as well, mainly because I don't have 25K lol.

if I send order Using api directly to directedge, what is the commission rate per share? For ib, such direct api to ecn is 0.0075 per share plus 0.01 dollar for every order submission cancellation modification, it is prohibitive to send order using api directly to ecn
