Why are we not Isolating the High Risk... and Closing our Border?

    1. For those interested... the data tells us 97% to 98 % of the covid deaths have underlying conditions... You can see for yourself that San Diego is consistent with this... see below.

In San Diego we also see...
    2. Zero deaths under 20.
    3. I also note...some Covid is coming across our Border.

So to the extent this stats are similar everywhere... our State, Our U.S. and to some degree our worldwide response to this virus... is the most unscientific thing... non data driven approach we could have ever imagined.

Keeping the borders open and locking down the healthy is insane to me.
I welcome you to try show me why we could not..
Isolate the high risk and let the low risk be productive.

My view is that the data shows us that if you want to protect society...

Lockdown the borders... and Lockdown the high risk carefully like they do in the old folks homes... I visited. Take temperatures at the door for care providers... keep everyone else away... (in general.)

Here are the stats... I see...

San Diego Union Tribune is keeps track of Covid deaths and underlying causes or not.

    Go down to Covid deaths.
Click the first column and sort on the most recent date.

Then scan the last column... see how many no you see.
Then go to the next page by clicking the arrows.

Overall. I went back 10 pages... I would estimate more than 96% or more of the deaths have underlying conditions.

Also note... a portion of those deaths are probably people coming over the border in very serious condition.

We get a lot of Covid cases coming over from Mexico.

CA is in a Lockdown again.
Our moron governor locked San Diego in with L.A. to declare that our ICU capacity is too low at under 15%.

Even though our capacity is significantly higher.

And Covid is still coming across the border.
I wonder how many more small businesses with never re open
How many adults and children enter deeper into depression and/ or suicide.

When what we should be doing is closing the borders and telling the high risk to isolate themselves.

You can see plenty of data here... showing the border is a larger part of the problem.
You can see... young people do not die.
You can see basically how anti - data and anti science our Governor is.
Finally... do not forget this gov. has been over ruled by the Sup Ct.
I wonder if he even has the authority to do much of what he has been doing.
Our legislature should be holder hearings and creating laws based on data.

We are all adults. Let me correct that. Extra liberal cry babies are plenty, waiting for nanny government to tell them what to do and take care of them. That aside, for the adults, there is plenty one can do to mitigate the risks of contracting Corona Virus. Wearing a mask is one, opening windows in your house or apartment, using hand sanitizer and washing your hands and face when you come back from the grocery, mall or even the doctor's clinic. Take a hot bath after you rest and come back from your errands. Take Zinc Gluconate, Vitamin C, Vitamin D or get sun's rays by walking outside on a sunny day. Buy a pulse oximeter to take readings of oxygen levels in your body. 95-99 readings are good and normal. President Donald Trump got a 93 reading the day they took him to Walter Reed hospital. Outside dining areas are safer than inside dining areas for obvious reasons. The wind outside will dissipate any viruses and germs in the area. So, shutting down restaurants including, outside dining is dumb as hell.

This is the most accurate thing about why the public is pissed out our non data driven Gov...
    Benito Newsom

California officials are desperate to reverse an unprecedented flood of new coronavirus cases up and down the state, and even their critics acknowledge the impossibility of the situation. But banning relatively safe outdoor activities risks alienating people who want to follow the rules but feel exhausted, disregarded and sometimes confused by them, Brown University health economist Emily Oster said.

"Some of the things they're telling you not to do are incredibly low-risk," Oster said. "When you are so strict about what people can do, they stop listening."

Govt messenging and madates pits intelligent people in San Diego who see the data... against leftist morons.

Some of our govt officials in San Diego are bringing up these very critiques against Benito Newsome.

We are isolating the high risk, we have them locked up in the prisons we call nursing homes. Yay for us, we're so caring!

Well they don't have them locked up in Florida.... you can come take grandma & grandpa from the nursing home and bring them back.... all without a COVID test. So much for "protecting the vulnerable".

This is why I see you lefties as mostly unthinking on this...

Why is it superior to destroy kids lives?
Why is it better to destroy healthy peoples businesses and lives.
We tried it your way.. and it failed.

Now should we not try... the direct way?

This virus targets the old and the those with co morbidities....
Therefore shouldn't we protect and isolate the high risk.

Its pretty clear to me... once we have cleared hospital be shortages...

this time... lets get serious... about this virus...

    a. lockdown the borders.
    b. isolate the high risk
    c. test and trace for clusters

these half assed lock downs which include the low risk..
only serve extinguish antibodies... .they don't make the virus go away. .

“[P]eople died despite the lockdowns, and thousands more died because of the lockdown. We brought you the toll week after week. The establishment’s cruel, destructive lockdowns failed, yet here we are again about to repeat them,” Hilton warned. “None of it is based on science or data.”

He continued, “It is all capricious, pseudoscientific nonsense. Look at Biden with its pathetic statement about masking in his first 100 days. It is pure BS plucked out of thin air by some PR idiot. Everything Biden says about the virus is for politics, not public health. He has zero credibility. Lockdown leaders know the rules make no sense, or they wouldn’t break them all the time. Every day there is a new Democrat lockdown hypocrite. What moral authority do they have to impose lockdowns on anyone anywhere? They are exploiting this virus to micromanage our lives, and we have had enough of it. This lockdown groupthink is as wrong as the establishment groupthink that gave us endless war in the Middle East and a 50-year suck up to China. But this is worse than both because the costs are higher. Lockdowns are the biggest public policy mistake in history, and we have to fight them. Be responsible, protect the vulnerable, live your life.”
