Why are the big name U.S. Investing champions so obsessed with selling their investment strategies?

One claims he just made $600,000 on crypto in the last two months. So why's he courting a piss ant like me? I didn't hear from him again when I asked to see an agreement. Mark Minervini and Mike Webster hopped on this bandwagon too. If you follow Mark Minervini on X, 70% of his posts are selling you a $5000 no refunds forum or MPA at $6,000 a year. Big trading profits aren't enough for these guys? When I deflected hearing Mike Webster's crypto pitch (IBD's Director of Research again), he called me every dirty name in the book and said that applied to my mother too.

All these guys are prototyping Mark Minervini's pitch. I'm proud to have all these guys following me on X, though they're the only ones that do. Some of them triple follows.

    Obviously, you are very angry/mad/furious.

Did you contact US Champs first?

Or did the US Champs contact you first?
If the US Champs contact you first,
then why did you engage in conversation with them?

What other unpleasant engagements do you have?

Every day, we receive tons of scam/nuisance calls/emails.
    Why do they do that?
Those US Champs/scammers have to sell their services in order to bring home the bacon.
Simply just block/ignore them unless you want to help them bring home the bacon.

    ooooohhhhmmmmmmmmmm .....
    calmmmm ........
    peaceeeee .....

Mark Minervini has taken part in Investing Championships 40 times and won twice. Even a broken clock is right twice in a day.

I'm only aware of his entering the US Investing Champion twice. What were the other 38 events? I don't doubt his trading skills only the claim that they are transferable. He encouraged me to buy crypto and that has been a money-maker for me.

Not at all. Just surprised that these guys are so willing to squander their good name.

Firstly the object of entering an investment championship is to prove you are capable of trading.
You want to prove you can trade so you can sell trading courses or manage OPM.

Secondly if you are known as a successful trader, how often would you receive requests to teach someone how to trade? Steady income with no risk, why wouldn't you take advantage of that?

Trading can be taught. And the financial industry has convinced us that we are too dumb to look after our own money. And there is this belief that you can buy success. If I wanted to sell courses I'd certainly enter one of these contests. I think you'd have more credibility than standing in front of a lambo with a fistfull of hundred dollar bills.
