I think it's obvious and expected that any religion in the world would be obsessively against all of that.

Largely unexplored is the role Christianity may play in possibly molding criminal abusers. Researchers know that a typical child molester is a "good Christian" and often a church-goer active in church activities. Why should this be so? Havelock Ellis wrote, "In all countries religion, or superstition, is closely related with crime." It should not be surprising that crime is connected to the religious mentality and its ideology: such beliefs as original sin, the sacredness of gruesome bible teachings and inflexibility of moral codes, the absolution of sin through confession, a lack of personal responsibility for one's actions, and terrifying spectres of a jealous god and evil devils. Religious doctrine encourages power inequities toward women and children, and such inequities invariably lead to abuse. Christian doctrine emphasizes submission and teaches the exemplary Christian to follow like sheep, and "become as little children" (Matthew 18:3). The classic Christian concept that human nature is innately "depraved" and sinful may also be a self-fulfilling prophecy. Does the Christian ministry attract sexual deviants, or mold them? It may be an unanswerable riddle. When one looks at fallen televangelist Jimmy Swaggart, one may surmise that the more he ranted against the temptations of pornography and illicit sexual relations, the more he was trying to overcome his own impulses, and fighting his own nature. Or one may speculate that the deep sexual repressions of the fundamentalist religion, coupled with the unhealthy adulation he received as one of God's chosen, corrupted what was once an innocent nature. In either case, the mixture of ministerial power with religion's social inequities and repressive doctrines is demonstrably explosive. One study released by Rev. Ronald Barton and Rev. Karen Lebaczq (March, 1990) for the Center for Ethics and Social Policy of the Graduate Theological Union at Berkeley, found that a quarter of all clergy have engaged in sexual misconduct......."
Christians are trying to get rid of the LGBT pedos. Maybe ol'Mickey is mad about that for some reason?
Christians are in there with them, it's like Trump saying "drain the swamp", how can a swamp creature drain his home? How can corrupt christians rid the world of corruption?
Connecting the two is a fallacy being pushed by religious fundamentalists. In fact, pedophilia and sexual abuse are far more common within certain churches. When I see posters on here that are ignorant and are openly disrespectful of woman and minorities well those are prime candidates to evolve into mentally, physically, and/or sexually abusing people. Often the very people obsessed with the mythical threat of the LGBT community. It would be far more appropriate to discuss the Catholic Church or various cult like churches on this topic. That of course is uncomfortable to many in the churches themselves.
It's pedophile = narcissist. One day the world will get it's head out if it's ass on this. If a narcissist is in a role near kids, remove them by whatever means. Amercians in general are the single worst at recognising and reacting with appropriate violent if necessary hostility to narcissists and this is something that needs to change.
High-Functioning Autism (Asperger’s) vs Narcissism, both on the spectrum but different. A study published in the journal "Psychology of Religion and Spirituality" found that narcissistic ministers were more likely to engage in sexual misconduct than non-narcissistic ministers. The study also found that narcissistic ministers were more likely to have a history of childhood abuse. Another study, published in the journal "Pastoral Psychology," found that narcissistic church leaders were more likely to engage in emotional abuse of their congregants. The study also found that narcissistic church leaders were more likely to have a history of conflict with other church leaders
Too many of them have made ET their home with oppressive & racist rhetoric under the facade of free speech. They're in plain sight as a defender of Trumpism, insurrection supporters, conspiracy theorists, and believers of the big lie. wrbtrader
