Who was the BEST US President ?

Of all the US Presidents so far I put forward as the best yet, probably the biggest dummy of the lot. Yes Ronald Reagan.
1. He had charisma and it showed through.
2. He was a goodish actor playing the greatest role of his life and one he could identify with. That of the nice ole guy from next door.
3. He had the good sense to know his own limitations beyond generalities and employ the best available for specifics.
4. Under his watch Communism fell flat on its face and the USA took off financially.
5. He upheld decent values of honesty and integrity and looked the part too.

Is there such a person ? - yep I think so, but would they do the job ? Probably.
I would suggest Clint Eastwood or Harrison Ford.

 

LOL. I'll go with Clint. I can see his Dirty Harry character on the button, saying to our perceived enemies....well, you know the quote.

 

He would be a rooting and a tooting - that's for damn sure. Not like some.

I nominate Jefferson Davis. A truly great man.

Who was the best president?

Well, I'm a big fan of Andrew Jackson.

 

I think a lot of luck is involved.
No nasty wars.
A good predecessor setting it all up right.
