    Simen,

The Captain is right. Your best method for finding trading/Strategy partners is to join a group where everyone is using the same trading software and the sharing of strategies is encouraged and/or alteast supported.

I can't speak for the other trading platforms (though my guess is they may have the same capabilities), but CoolTrade's fully automated trading system has the ability to allow members to share their strategies with each other (if they like). The CoolTrade system comes with many strategies from which to start with, and you can copy many already proven successful strategies directly from the website (see the "strategies" button on the website).

A nice feature in the CoolTrade system is it is all point-and-click. So you don't have to be a programmer to use the system.

CoolTrade only works with Equities though. So if you are looking for futures, options or forex, CoolTrade cannot help.

  4. Yes, you could learn a lot from Jasonn, like how to create multiple aliases and say a lot of stupid things.

I think wer'e all in the same boat when it comes to the stock market. i.e. trying to help each other to make money in the markets. Sometimes I come off like an expert, but the fact is, I learn a lot from the CoolTrade members who come to the office for free training on the software, and from reading and talking to people about different trading strategies.

I also learn a lot from the suggestions that come from the CoolTrade users (like new indicator requests and new software features).

I get so much positive feedback from actual users of the software that I know I'm helping by informing people about the advantages of rules-based-trading and letting the computer/software handle the entry/exists. Beats the heck out of staring at charts all day!

I thought Simon's question was sincere as he did post his telephone number. Also, what would it hurt to help someone develop a trading strategy. it's not like they are going to take your money if the strategy works. Working in groups to develop strategies can be a lot better than working in a vaccuum.

    Best!
