why trade timeframe that is why people are so clueless why their methods won't hold up.

what does time have to do with anything when it's price you buy and sell.

can you buy or sell time?

well i guess if your employed you are in fact selling time.

Time and price have a correlation though :D
    Don't you think the 5min average < 30min average range ?

The more time, the more variance.
The greater the reward to risk can be :D

But yeah ... Time shouldn't be a constraint.
Who TF says "I don't want to hold for more than XYZ units."

    The question should be ... What's the E(x) / Max Drawdown ?
Nah ... Too little E(x) ... Or too much DD for my taste.

My trades typically last between 2 hours to 6 months nowadays, so I guess I'm all of these?

If you trade pattern recognition, then each to there own, one persons strategy may work on the 5 min but not 30 min chart.

    No time frame.

Future earnings through exponential growth is all I care about.

Short term traders should stick with the 1hr, 30m and 15m charts in my opinion.
