I've read alot of your threads on various brokers, tested various demo feeds and done enough reading to make my head spin.

Until I feel comfortable with a broker, I don't plan on putting any of my heavy money into things, so I plan on starting out with a mini-account. I mostly want to see how the brokers live service compares to the demo service (i've heard enough horror stories!)

One other thing to consider... I am canadian, so funding accounts is a bit more difficult (wire transfers are pricey up here)

Any recommendations? I'm leaning towards forex.com/gain capital, but I haven't seen too many postings about them.

Any help anyone can give is great!

    Go with Interactive brokers.

They're Forex platform is ECN style. Meaning, they're a true brokerage for FOREX and not a market maker like Gain Capital.

Look up the difference between a Forex Market Maker/Dealer and a Forex ECN broker to see why if you're going to play the Spot forex, it's better to use an ECN.

There's also MB Trading, CoesFX, and currenex. All ECN style.
