Yeah, I have @Overnight on ignore (not blocked), but then I probably have the dubious honour on ET of having more people on ignore than any other ET member. My list runs into the hundreds. So why do I do it? Numerous reasons, not to do with thin skinned, you just prolly saw my recent skimish with Baron, I'll say what I want to say and fight if I need to fight and ignore if I want to ignore. My time is precious to me. @Overnight imo is a smart guy, in actual fact I quite like him. My problem with @Overnight, there's too many silly comments, too much noise, not enough comments with any depth. I just filter out nonsense posters using the ignore feature. I don't care if I miss part of the thread, if something really interests me then I'll view the thread in incognito mode. There's another poster on ET (forgot his user name atm) quite a nice guy but he always posts in riddles, I can guess about 20% of what he says, the other 80% leaves me scratching my head. Of all his posts, maybe 1% makes intelligent sense ie has wisdom, welp, why would I bother wasting my time?
I like his posts, he is quite funny sometimes and when it comes to trading he nailed a couple of things that made me think, I don't ignore anyone so I don't know if my opinion counts anyway.
He is a funny guy, and he posts a lot of interesting videos. Not sure why anyone would want to put him on ignore.
Yeh, Overnight is pretty funny. Reasonably smart too. He doesn't mind putting the smackdown on peeps occassionially too
I look at the block feature simply as moving into another room, or not going to that or that pub anymore. There's this waitress in one pub, doing something that doesn't fit my standarts, so i simply don't go there anymore. (And even that was 1-2 times per year) Same with block feature. I got certain standarts when it comes to communication and if those are crossed, then ,,both" of us are wasting our time. Less headpain. 7+ billion out there.
He's one of my favorite posters. I appreciate his wit, terseness and "to the 'pointedness' ". And I appreciate the way he puts Jackasses down with efficient and selective use of vocabulary.
The problem with Mickey is... A. He is the only Aussie on this forum as far as I know, and is taking out his losing gold trades on me, B. He knows he stole my "Comments from the Cow Side..." theme from me and started his own theme series based upon it, titled..."Which Way...?" and is now trying to avoid a copyright fight. I will win, because I can do this™ Teehee.
