alright, given the constant news chatter of bubbles and references to 1929, 1987, 2000, 2007 etc, which would u rather be short: SPX or Bitcoin? purely for sake of discussion: (bc how u trade ur view makes a huge difference) if it turns out that this time isn't so different...that stocks arent going to be 'at a permanently high plateau'...that parabolic upward surges don't last forever...then perhaps we might all look back one day and see how shorting XX was so **obvious** that any kid could have done it and made a fortune
lol, ok - feel free to compare the merits of any other highly liquid short w/ SPX & bitcoin (i was thinking CMG, but then again who knows what Bill Ackman might stir up). time constraint: by Christmas 2018
I can't provide my prediction on the market, as I'm not allowed, but to be fair if you want members to comment on their preference of Bitcoin and SPX, you should give the option of being long too.
Obviously SP500 short term... but mainly because of irregularities and inefficiencies can cause Bitcoin to explode more easily than SP500. Shorting bitcoin has too many risks. I think you will get the same answer when you would ask which we would prefer to be long... SP500 or BTC. I choose SP500 again....
