I am currently looking into more exotic markets like south africa, russia, turkey, norway, poland, czech republic etc and would like to know where is the go to place to find out important fundamental data. Government reports/documents, economic release numbers (GDP,CPI,Inflation etc) anything that will aid my analysis of the countries macro outlook. I currently find the economic release numbers on FXstreet but that doesn't really cut it, its not well laid out or presented. Thanks
You can find a lot of country related data at: http://www.google.com/publicdata/directory You might want to look at this Coursera course on "Understanding Economic Policymaking" https://www.coursera.org/learn/economic-policy/outline The professor uses google:data to teach a very good Macroeconomics course. Good luck.
