If you didn't see it, you missed a college football game for the ages. It truly doesn't get any better. Plus... Saban lost.
Good lord. That's what happens sometimes at Soccer games in Europe. Please, college football fans, don't trample people!
Yeah I thought the same thing lol... like some S. American country winning the World Cup. Lots of hangovers in Knoxville today I'm sure.
They actually took the goal posts out of the stadium and threw them in the river. I can't recall though anyone being trampled when the fans storm the field in the US at football games.
Good game? Sure. Great? Nah. Combined for over a 100 points. SEC the new Big 12? Someone should remind these two programs that defense is a thing.
I mean.. it wasn't a Thanksgiving Day rivalry.... but it was pretty close... TN is not Auburn.... but either way, it was a hell of a game. Did you watch it? Watch the last 5 minutes. And whether or not you think so... 100,000 plus fans watched "the kick heard across all of college football" as Saban lost in week 7. That's a big deal anywhere, and especially in Knoxville. That said, Bama will probably drop to what(?).... #5 lol?! I don't think the computers are set up to go lower than that for them.
Noone loves CFB more than I. Guess im just not a huge fan of football games with basketball game scores. Too much hyperbole btw. Bama has been dropping games for years now. Not sure i follow a top 10 team going down to another top 10 team being that big of a deal. It is a big win for Tennessee though coming out of nowhere this year. Barring the insane offensive exceptions historically - defense wins championships. Was a messy game to be sure with flashes of brilliance.
The pix look damn scary. Police better don't use tear gas for crowd control (see recent Indonesia stadium stampede story). The Hillsborough Stadium Stampede 93 people died.
