When Lambo, maybe never

  1. Not long after William “Bud” Post won a Pennsylvania Lottery jackpot of $16.2 million in 1988, his brother was arrested for hiring a hit man to kill him for the inheritance. Post was later successfully sued by an ex-girlfriend for a share of the winnings, and was $1 million in debt by the time he died in 2006.

“Everybody dreams of winning money, but nobody realizes the nightmares that come out of the woodwork, or the problems,” he said in 1993.

In the case of Ronnie Music Jr., the $3 million that he won from a Georgia Lottery scratch-off game in 2015 was put toward purchasing and distributing crystal meth. He pleaded guilty in 2016 to investing in a drug ring and was sentenced to 21 years in prison.

The winner is chosen at random, so any junkie/criminal/dumbass/trash can win millions.

Then you have many couples who fell out of love years ago, just living together because they cant afford to separate. A divorce for them will happen pretty quick.

The 'remain anonymous' option is the one to select if available, why do some people choose to go public with massive wins?. They must really want that 15 minutes of fame, where they get to be in the newspapers and on tv.

Now we KNOW you are desperate for attention. The latest article you post on this subject was from 2016. Why bring it up now? Who cares?

    "When Lambo, maybe never". WTF?

r/WSB overload. Very common phrase on r/WSB about their option gambling leading to great riches enough to buy a Lamborghini.

Lottery == Poor Tax. So the winners usually piss away the money.
