Hi ! I am a novice in the world of investing. My question is how do you guys find out when a corporation is going to issue it’s quarterly and annual report ?
And what is the best place to find these reports ?

Thanks you for your help !

  2. Dates for such events change quarter to quarter for most if not all companies.

    Try: earnings.com

Yahoo also has info on the announcement "once a date has been confirmed" under the analyst estimates link.

  3. sec.gov

  5. New rules are currently being phased-in. In the past, Form 10-K (annual report) was due 90 days after fiscal year-end; Form 10-Q (quarterly report) was due 45 days after fiscal quarter-end. When the new rules become fully-effective, the deadlines will vary by company:

-- Large accelerated filers: 60 days for 10-K and 40 days for 10-Q.
    -- Accelerated filers: 75 days for 10-K and 40 days for 10-Q.
    -- Non-accelerated filers: 90 days for 10-K and 40 days for 10-Q.

    thank you guys !

To OptionPro007: could you give a link to the Yahoo section where they report confirmed dates of reports, please ?

I checked on Yahoo under "Analyst estimates", but could not find..

  7. Dates appear "once a date has been confirmed" by the company, not before.
/30 to 15 days prior in most cases/

    An example for HD:

    http://finance.yahoo.com/q/ae?s=HD

    and for a better picture:

    http://earnings.com/highlight.asp?date=20060221&client=cb

    Good luck !

  9. Correct. The best place to find quarterly and annual reports is www.sec.gov.

earnings.com has beeen great just enter your ticker and it gives you the info. the street and the litttle investor have been brutal lately and most earnings reports seem to be a great way to make money pre and post market. if the company misses by a hair the selloff is crazy before market opens or after it closes, great way to make some money lately. any other opinions
