I've seen someone post this on twitter and i found this "personality test" quite interesting and insightful. Take the test there; https://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test So yeah. Which personality type do you think makes the best traders? Apparently i'm a logician/ INTP-T. And i would say it's quite accurate, even though i never thought about this. What about you?
Investors? INTJs: respecting rules Traders? INTPs: "like to improvise" Ultimate success? INTJ traders -- (who no longer care to "perceive" anymore...!)
Damn, turned out to be ENTP, only thing good about it was, that personality is suited for stock market. Rest it doesn't seem good on all other aspects be relationship, Friendship or working colleagues. ha ha
Who would have guessed? Character traits that prove successful in the stocks are contra to success in relationships friendships or working with colleagues. Obvious.
Score of Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is ESFJ. Considering having Asperger's and being Autistic as a child, I have had to work and overcome what was once fears are no longer. Don't have fears of future, death or man, learned how to overcome possibilities, having ethical and moral behaviors best I can and marksmanship. One can say there is a little bit of all of us in all 16 personalities, whether one has the perseverance, dedication and ability to adapt to ever changing conditions of price action is hindsight. Since generally takes me years to develop the trust being friends with people, only have handful of true friends, but talking with many men, they often have no true friends. I do not work well with colleagues, but as an owner I do well. I think too many have dreams and fantasies, I have goals and reality. You can't keep score having dreams and fantasies.
%% Well, personalities are blends. I like Florence Littauer's main types; Talker, thinker, watcher, worker...……….…………………………………..Hers has been quite helpful in many areas. For example thinker types are introverted, + tend to like charts + graphs. , Among its many uses ,if one expects an introvert to talk like an extravert=NOT going to happen...………………………………………………………………………………………….LOL
I agree, I do thoroughly enjoy being in my cave 24 hours a day working on charts, but doing so weakens abilities of having more relationships more so of growing older. Most women are not going to be happy being in a cave. In beginnings much harder than most of going into public, but best to make weaknesses your friend than enemy. Start out making one minute conversations, do every day and eventually you don't know the changes it adds to one's life. I see people more afraid of the unknown, go learn how to defend yourself well in hand to hand combat, after few years, decade, many decades, lost fears many years ago, but still love my cave.
