Seeing as how I'm not gonna have a wife cooking for me anymore (til I get a new one), I'm gonna haveta eat frozen dinners.

Gor any recommendations? So far I like costco teri chicken bowls alot.

Why not try one of the many DIY prep -or- prepared meal services? Much, much, mucho, healthier. Week-by-week, with no commitments. EveryPlate and Dinnerly are VERY affordable and good tasting imo. Pricing varies among the many services. Some are priced like restaurants.

As for the freezer.... We keep a few SmartOnes by Weight Watchers stocked.
    Available at most grocers.

In general, not a big fans of freezer foods. But frozen fruit and veggies reduce a lot of
    fresh-produce waste in my household.

    Happy eating

Don't know why you feel frozen is your only choice since you won't have a wife cooking for you.

Pasta is the easiest thing in the world. Just boil some water, toss the pasta in and cook to your preferred texture and then add your favorite sauce.

Seguing from pasta to frozen, the Celantano cheese raviolis are quite tasty.

As for TV dinners? Man, there is just a slew of them out there, so it would take you time to find your favorites. I am partial to Rao's as it has decent flavor, but is a tad pricey. I am not sure if the stuff from aapasta.com is available where you are, but they ship to home and their chicken parm is the best frozen chicken parm money can buy. Restaurant-quality.

And do not forget the ol' reliable ultimate bachelor food, Kraft Man n' Cheese. Cheap, easy, filling and yummy.

Frypan....Brown up some butter in pan, add a bit salt
Add any one of: stir fry meat/beef mince/pork mince/chicken mince/chopped streaky bacon, keep frypan max heat and brown the meat.
After 5 odd minutes, turn down heat, cover with lid.

While waiting, In microwave dish with lid which can breathe (don't want container exploding), for 2 minutes on high, heat frozen peas/beans/corn/chopped mushrooms, any frozen veges you like.
Let to settle for couple minutes.

Throw the hot veges into pan with meat, stir fry on high couple minutes.
Add Tomato Bolonaise sauce from supermarket, just about 3 tablespoons should do it from out of the jar.

Heat a tad longer but just simmer at this stage, do not overheat, then serve with bread and butter.

For desert, custard and canned fruit, all from supermarket. Can add icecream if you wish.

Done! About 20 minutes start to finish.
Dishes: 1 frypan, couple plates, spoon, knife, spatula, desert bowl.
Easy peasy! You could make 2 days worth, saves cooking.
