  1. I called a Prop Shop that was advertising $.002 per share and their ECN rebates don't match what other Brokers are rebating me on ARCA, EDGE and INET!

Other Brokers ECN Rebates The Rebates of the Prop were .001 across the board. Plus $.004 for taking, why?

    ARCA $.003 or -$.002

    INET $.003 or -$.002

    EDGE $.003 or -$.0023

How low do you guys who generate a ton of shares get your per-share rate down to? Which ECN do you use for the majority of your trading? I use EDGE-Limit to get my cost down to $.003 plus/minus ECN rates. Have any of you guys gotten your Broker/Prop to go to $.002 or $.0015? I am not complaining now, I use other brokers I know will fill my order for $6.00 for 20,000 and it costs them some bank to fill that order unless they can "In House" their order. Using a limit on the offer of SIRI or ALU is fast with Fidelity and couple other Brokers.

Etrade drag's their feet on stocks like SIRI, try buying 50,000 of SIRI at $3.65 x $3.66 with 1,500,000 shares on the Bid and Offer and it takes a few minutes to get this done. I can place my order with Fidelity using UBSS on other high volume stocks and my fills start to move quick.

Back to per-share Brokers, what's the lowest rate you have successfully negotiated per share?

To guys or gals who pay more than $.0039 or $.003 per share, why would you?

Is price your only criteria for choosing a broker? Or for choosing a prop firm?
