I'm looking at https://finviz.com/quote.ashx?t=TSLA, and it has a Short Float ("short interest share") of 13.84%, and a Short Ratio ("short interest ratio") of 1.07. Firstly, what's the difference between these terms? I assume that Short Float of 13.84% means that 13.84% of the total float has been shorted, although I'm not confident about this. Secondly, how can we use this information in day trading? I know that heavily shorted stocks can tend to squeeze more, but can we do anything more sophisticated with this information?
