I am looking for a new stock-scanner to find stocks hitting new $52 week highs above and below $.01 or lower? I notice some stock-scanners are not going live until the stock hit's above $2.00 which defeats the purpose of catching these chaos stocks like ICLD that went from $1.00 to $15? in a few days. I have models I base my Sub $2.00 stocks on and my Scouters I have with my new Brokers are not cutting it. I had Esignal and need to wait for a few months to get their Stock Radar (It's awesome) back because I signed up a contract with another firm. Trade-Station, LightSpeed, IBKR do you have a opinion on their stock scouter catching stocks live breaking through 52 week highs or lows? Thank's for helping me, I was watching a horrible little stock pump drop from $1.26 to $.56 intra-day(a Timmy Skye's dream Short Sell but I don't have the nerves to short Penny Stocks when we have a Universe of stocks and options going up. Thanks for helping out.
I'm not sure if I understand your post correctly. Are you looking for a scanner for sub-penny stocks hitting 52-week highs? In any case, the best scanner I can suggest is TC2000. You can scan for virtually any setup and filter by price. You can also scan real time for Nasdaq Pink Sheets. The cost for Platinum intraday is about $110/month including exchange fees. It is also a very solid charting program with the ability to create your own indicators very easily. I used Trade-ideas in the past (was happy with service) but TC2000 packs way more punch.
---What's the Best Stock Scanner-Scouter-Radar in your opinion?-- one that helps you make most money of the market
Thank you for all these great ideas! Usually after I am done trading I go to Bar-charts and review their data, it's a great site for finding ideas on Equities and Options. Esignal has a Stock-Radar that allows you to catch stocks breaking out from Penny-Pump-and-Dumps to every other price points. Sectors, Industry and other valuable information is provided and it runs around $100 when you add Exchange fees with your program. Will check out the software you posted, thank's again for helping a Trader out, I love how Elite Trader has real people using their brains and the detailed answers you are willing to post for another Trader. We are lucky to have the talented Traders here, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year if I don't get another chance to thank you! http://www.barchart.com/
Thank you Birdman, I appreciate all ideas, I took the free trial on one of the ideas and will examine your pick. I found some pre-scanned ideas from some Trader's scan on a penny-pump stock and played it this week. It's cool some of these scanners show what other Traders are looking for. How long have you been using your stock scanner and have you had problems using it? My Brokerage platform imploded this week and costed me $5300, it refused to open on a stock I was trading after-hours, so now I am looking for stability and price below $5.00 is no longer a issue for equities after having my platform die 100 times this week.
Hi Jesse, I just use the free version of Finviz. I find it adequate for my needs and like it alot. I hope you find your adventure enjoyable and eventually profitable!
I like their platform, a free platform, can't beat that price! I like looking for listed-stocks breaking out from $0-3.00 range 52 week highs or lows to short. I found ALU and recently NVAX by using these methods of hunting for intraday or "end of the day" studies. Thank's again, Happy Holiday's and lots of happiness, health and profit for the New Year, thank you kindly!!
