Hello All What is the best, affordable source of up-to-the-moment market commentary: Ideally: 1) Realtime, the sort of thing traders would use who "trade the news" ie pounce on the CPI report or a fed member talking etc 2) Affordable 3) Linked to IB (they offer hundreds of services), attached 4) I'm not asking for miracles, just to know what main events are going on 5) The usecase is to know whats causing a sudden shift in the volatility of the broad market, ie. Vix. (I'm not too interested in every earnings call or every fx movement.) Please let me know what works for you and why
Thank you for the suggestion, I'll try them. I hope they come out with an audio when the fed members like Bullard speak, that moves the market a lot but might be a bit too "off the cuff" to be a proper news event
Bloomberg TV, they are only some seconds delay after news and you cannot only listen you can watch too. The first half hour or so is also free. https://www.bloomberg.com/live
Bloomberg tv and CNBC are free in Europe on freesat. You can get the freesat receiver built into TVs now.
Thank you for the suggestion of Bloomberg TV though it might be "too much", I'm not really looking for a re-cap or extended commentary, more like a one liner, a headline e.g. "Brainard indicated that the central bank could soon slow the pace of its interest rate increases."
