I wanted to upgrade my dll and emailed to the sales but got no reply. And there is banner on their websites that is saying we wanted to stop selling but we still do bla bla.. Anyone knows the real story? Are they alive?
so i called and talked to them about taking over the business (buying it) and keeping it just as is. but they had no interest in it until someone dies probably unfortunately, i think either jurik is out of it or there is another person that has it now. anyway they said it was just too messy to sell - although there was some hesitation and thinking about it which was good, so maybe in the future. i think the main problem is all the license's and locks they have on various stuff which would not matter if you just add someone to the corp nothing had to change. again it's sad, seen this happen alot in this and other industries. besides most everything they have to offer like my market profile has been boot legged all over the place on the net.
I don't know if owning Jurik as a business is a smart decision. If you want advanced and free indicators that are just as good if not better, look at the work of John Ehlers. Technical Papers Don't know how to code, even in spreadsheets? I guess you will be out of luck.
Actually I got reply not long after I posted here. So all is good. But yeah, Mark, if you can you should push them and buy them out. Idk what so messy about it. People buyout businesses with IP all the time. I guess it is psychological. Letting go of your grown up baby..
i know mark j. from way back on the omega and code list where we shared ideas and code for years and years. it's not like i'm a stranger to them at all, i would be the logical guy but not the only guy that would take it there are a few others from that era who could take it. my offer was to keep it just as is and expand some now that ai has come into vogue.
