What would life be like without GM or Citigroup?

I say no different, possibly better after the initial shock wore off.

I say the gummit is stoopid.

 

Probably cheaper, for the taxpayers anyway. Considering all the bailout money being flushed down the toilet.

I say the federal government is stupid too.

Think about it. For a minute be a senator or congressman who now owns US industries with some dumb tax payer footing the bill. You can now soak these industries and all their net worth to pay your campaigns, junkets and buy you legal bribery. The minute these industries protest you can scream “UNFAIR TO THE TAXPAYER” to shut them up. This is what they do in communist china why not here?
