Question What will give you the best return in bad times but not catastrophic times.

Answer from a billionaire was to buy 50%A of your money for tooth paste and soup in bulk. /Then save even more money to buy the bargains that will be coming.
*****This is an answer for bad times not catastrophic time. skip answers like ammo and survival kits etc.

I've been adding Buisness Development Companies (BDC) to my holdings. Easy to find returns above 10% without much downside risk.

Yes, I own a few as well. I initially thought they were madoff like. Above 10% like clock work. Any inelastic product probably works.

Buy the S&P 500. Turn off the news, social media etc and go outdoors.

Toilet Paper, powdered milk, soups, meat, chocolate, shoes, boots, pants, peanut butter, barrels of black beans, spices, underwear, hand generated devices, flashlites. Think in terms of camping. Also as much chocolate you can store, Great item to banter.

  10. Would add bags of flour and batteries for the survival side.

Barter side Ive been thinking elements for home brew and also cannabis production.

Investment side, assuming its not end of days,Gold,Bitcoin,BTD on local index futures.
