Cashclay, can I ask you a question? I know you're very interested in penny stocks and I do hope that you buy ones that has institutional investors (especially, the hedge funds). When people talk about their favourite shares on ET, do they talk about shares that they own or shares they use for daytrading? I know it's off topic but can you please give me some ideas? thanks
Search and trade stocks listed on the TSX Venture Exchange out of Toronto, Canada - you might like it. The TSX Venture Exchange used to be the notorious/infamous Vancouver Stock Exchange. The wild west of stock exchanges for start-ups in the natural resource industry.
I don't know about penny stocks but hedge fund typically buy illiquid stocks. I have done research on hedge fund so I know this and I am sure that their purchased illiquid stocks do include penny stocks. And there is a database of those stocks that are held by hedge fund and a lot of less skilled institutional investors like mutual fund pay attention to the list and buy those illiquid stocks too, resulting in increased cash inflow into those stocks, making them liquid eventually.
Can you please share the light on the Name of the website which has Reliable database of such Hedge Fund and their holdings.... Free sources
