I was wondering for those that trade 4 legged spreads on equity options, what percentage of your P&L is going to commissions. For me its about 20%, thanks

From personal experience with a similar commission rate/structure before: You won't make money.

Ok I appreciate everyone’s answers but I was really just looking for an answer to the original question.

I think the answers you would get would not be very useful to you since they would be very subjective and differ greatly depending on those traders particular trading styles.

Instead if you want to reduce the cost of trading go compare rates of brokers and find one which will be suitable for your trading style.

It can work with larger orders, but inefficient none the less.

To answer your question: roundtrip around 1-2% of profits assuming 1:1 risk to reward.
