What kind of software / tools / strategies proprietary firms use?

What tools / software those proprietary firms use?
I am aware of das traders and sterling pro but what other software their traders use?

Also what kind of strategies they use ? if you can give couple of examples?

I like supertrend as long as market is trending - any comments?

What other tools they use that retail traders are not even aware of?

 

I'd wager they all use MS Excel, in some form.

 

i heard they dont look at charts instead they trade on numbers
