what kind of data do institutions see about markets and traders

    and where do you go to read research papers adn statistics or any other market data that is available to these companies.
    im interested in that kind of stuff. especially human behavior research and stats

  3. There are lots of journals that publish stuff. You can email the researcher directly for a copy of a paper you might be interested in. Professional traders are always trying to incorporate best practices and ideas in order to improve efficiency.

    One particularly valuable tool is getting the heatmap from the smart routers or building a sniffer to read the stock fills or OPRA. You are the second stop on the smart router list, but still not terrible.
     
  5. If you're looking for scholarly articles you'll have to pay bear in mind. But you'd hope that the information contained in them is worth the money.
