What is Zen-Fire?

Pardon my ignorance but I don't get what Zen-Fire is.

A broker, data feed, software?

 

Data Feed.

 

Then what is the difference between zen-fire and say iqfeed?

 

What's the difference between a Porsche and Chevy.....

 

Seriously, I'm just trying to understand.

Their website talks about "lightning fast execution"

What does that have to do with data feeds?

 

The reason I said this is b/c speed is a main difference. As well with different data providers. Go to youtube and type in Zen-Fire and you'll see the speed difference between some of the data feeds. You always want fast when trading.

 

It's both a data feed and an order server. It also has historical tick data as well. It just lacks EOD historical data but you can build it off ticks.
