What is the Smartest thing you ever did Trading.....


for me I have to say learning to exit trades.. either with a manageable loss or a profit. I had this nasty habit of just not getting out..

okay let's hear it..

 

Quit

 

Be born.

 

Very few people ever compute the odds. It is astronomical.

 

Same as what I said in the "dumbest thing" thread, only in reverse: Sleeping in.

 

Spent the time to put my plan in writing.

 

Paper trade.

 

Don’t try making money for a while after you start.
Just concentrate on not losing too much until you start to actually know what is going on.

Most people are long gone before they ever have a clue

 

Looking at stocks that go up, instead of books and guru videos. Also looking at longer timeframes.

 

There's a reason for that. If they did, they would never Han Solo the market.
