What is the name of this software? And where to get it?

This software where can I get it or try it at home and will it work with a single monitor. Is there a similar or better software.

I use yahoo finance to see news and I am not sure how fast this software versus yahoo news is.

 

bloomberg terminal? shell out >$10000 to get it set up at your home.

 

looks like a Reuters terminal to me, but its hard to tell the difference.
it cost a leg too.

 

Look at www.money.net $150 a month. Metastock Xenith http://www.metastock.com/products/realtime/#realtime (a rebadged Reuters Eikon) from $99 a month. www.Esignal.com from $45 a month for delayed.

 

In the bottom right it refers to bloomberg

 

Thats bloomberg. Its about 2 grand a month. Not worth it imo, Ive used it for years. Youre better off with reuters or some other software, a good part of the info provided on bloomberg can be found in other news services for a fraction of the price.

 

Ok i went back to the office and the computer screen says Bloomberg along with the keyboard, but i don't want the whole setup just the software. Where can I just find the price of software.

 

Software is still 2k a month regardless of keyboard or not. Technically it might be like 1800 a month or whatever.

 

$1800 - $2000 a month is high way robbery. Unless there is something I don't know about the software that can give me an advantage over those who don't have this.

The only advantage I see if the news ticker which can put me ahead 10 minutes if I know what I am looking for against Yahoo finance news. I already got a live real time ticker from Optionshouse. Is there something that is valuable to getting access to these high price monthly subscription from Bloomberg and Reuters. Also mid price like Metastock.

I will also ask the manager if employees can get access to the software at home.
