What is the "MORE" that is needed from the soul of the aspiring Trader. What is that "extra" that is needed? Moderator...where do I put this thread? ES
Imho, I t would depend on how you define your terms. We could start the inquiry by identifying those that are common elements among all traders and those that are individualistic and unique per trader. Given each trader is an individual then each individual would have different needs at various points in their continued development and refinement. Someone at the beginning of the journey Of profitability have a different set of problems than someone further along and say, attempting to scale. These set of problems are also distinct from someone whom is experiencing ‘more than enough.’ Soul is a concept that has many interpretations. Imho, Soul doesn’t have an identity at the same level of awareness that ego has. Soul is much more vast, timeless and can easily be proven by just reflecting on the variety of one’s own life experience. There is the ‘you’ that changes through time and the ‘you’ that does not. Although the interpretation of direct experience is individualistic, there are archetypal experiences that are common among sentient beings such as ‘being’ a parent, a child and the spectrum of emotions we all share as we are having a ‘human experience.’
How about a PM from TraderEX? First week in August we meet and after some PM"S not your in the big time. I seem to be good for things say as well. When you post things that i recently shared with, please use other terminology. As I go through the new posts, i see a topic, and then realize it's every word I said...like, the 10,000 hours statement that I posted weeks ago... and I started looking at the NASDAQ...tradovate in the title.. It is a compliment to be mimicked but I cannot learn from myself. Other than that, the gauntlet? EX
"Soul" has nothing to do with it. What's needed is... #1, LOGIC. Research and deduction to identify the "high probability plays". #2, DISCIPLINE.... in all aspects. To pay attention, to take plays, to execute stops. (More difficult than it sounds.) The two greatest traders would have been Mr. Spock and Sherlock Holmes. Think about what that means and apply to your trading. KISS, baby.
