I keep hearing this over and over about how it would be so impossible for this guy to have 23 guns in his hotel room. To me it seems pretty easy. He loaded up a duffle bag with 4 or 5 guns and brought them to his room. He waited a few hours, went back to his car and got 4 or 5 more, then repeated until he had all 23. I bet each gun he had weighed under 10 lbs so the total weight would be under 230lbs. Moving 230lbs of weapons in a bag of some sort does not sound like a terribly difficult feat if you are planning on making several trips. Second of all, Vegas may very well be the most surveilled city in the world. They have cameras everywhere trying to catch cheaters and looking for people who have been busted cheating in the past. If there was a accomplice it is all spelled out on a video tape. There is no way the Mandalay Bay did not have cameras set up in its public spaces and they could see exactly who entered that room. The fact that after 5 days law enforcement is still saying they don't know how he got the guns to his room is complete bullshit.
Exactly. Getting the stuff in isn't all that remarkable. Doing it without raising any attention at all is a little more difficult to believe, but not impossible. Having all this in his room going completely unnoticed by any room service/maids makes you wonder, but again not out of the realm of possibility. Suggesting that you don't know with certainty that he was the only person entering and leaving the room is total bullshit. Tapes exist or they don't. If they do, then they know. If there are no surveillance tapes, that's a huge red flag considering casinos have every square inch of all common areas under 24-7 surveillance. Damn near a week in and the "authorities" can't be conclusive just doesn't come together.
