  2. Bottom Line.... "Fed speak" for printing money, debasing the $USD and the buying power of everybody's money. IOW... ROBBING EVERYBODY to bail out "too big to fail" companies.

    :(

They're pouring QE into everything under the sun (except stocks).

  4. Indirectly in support of stocks... perhaps directly soon/later as they decide they need to "buy securities" ala the BOJ.... in spite of that having been a big loser.

There is a beginning to everything. First you buy treasuries. If doesn't work or is not enough, then you buy treasuries & IG corporate bonds, still doesn't work, then you buy Ts, IG and Junk, doesn't work anymore, you buy everything out there.

The deeper the hole you are digging yourself in, the more difficult it becomes to get out of it.

Freeeeeeeee freeeeee freeeeee money forever and ever and ever.....bailouts for all the big banks and huge companies that always get free money. No matter how big the crisis, no one ever fails. No such thing as failing anymore. You can fuck up as much as you like and still get rewarded. Isn't capitalism great these days ...too big to fail, indeed. !!!

I wish it got to the point where the markets collapsed so much that we could have seen the fed buy stocks directly. Damn it. Maybe next crisis will get to see the fed buying stocks directly to prop them up. Least we got to see oil go negative.

The Fed keeps printing money (massive QE) and the $ will collapse. Currencies that maintained some semblance of capitalism will move back to the gold standard. When will the $ collapse? That I don't know, but I'm betting less than a year.

I'm in Canada, which is doing the same thing, everything free, printing money and increasing taxes in the very near horizon. I'm short the TSX and long Barrick and Newmont.

And due to the collapse of oil, inflation hasn't taken hold yet, but it's right around the corner.

Believe it or not, I'm a positive person. Cheers!
