Hope to not appear naive, I am pure technical and never read the news if not to see reactions as price action, but google recommended me the news from nasdaq.com that is quite serious i guess, namely Burry out of 13F report took a big position against ETF semicond, and Soros dumped NVDA to buy an eastern tick.

    I would like to know
a)How do you read when a big guy do this kind of put, Can be an Hedge? Is usually to read in a bearish way or there is never too much info and you would stick only to my technical analysis?
    b) earnings from NVDA were good and title went down because of semiconduct scenario restrictions, there is some key date that you would watch regarding semiconductors? at the moment he looks strong to me, although could worse case scenario of my analysis retrace 6 per cent

    Don't even worry about it

Nvda is owned by millions of institutions and pension funds....

The top 10 tech stocks will only move higher day after day week after week and month after month in 2024. Remember it's an election year and that means stocks only go up. Not down. So those 7 stocks that are already up trillions of dollars collectively will continue to add even more trillions of dollars in market cap in 2024 and nvda is just 1 of them. Nvda should easily add another 100-200% In gains for 2024 so just buy it and the other top tech stocks sit back and collect all your free money possible because 2024 is going to be another year of gigantic gains!
No such thing as a down market. Remember that.

Until the day Skynet becomes self-aware. AI stocks will then become a hot potato, but it won't matter because we'll all be dead soon anyways.

OK the whales are happy with buy and hold on the basis of their info and power.
But I am a positional sardine and my job is to avoid or shorting corrections. Have to be at least aware of Christmas rally, elections(as mentioned), western agreements, smart money because Pensions and Vanguard are SLIGHTLY more delta neutral than me LOL, hence price will tell my exit.

Your reasoning and @Peter8519 were really solid, thanks for your considerations did 109% in few months, and can sleep on the night really good considering the lack of operational risk if does not come a war china taiwan

I understand why people with 30 year experience say that trading should be simple. maybe the execution, risk management, quant signals can be complex and statistically significant, but should be an easy game the theme, the sector, a large base, huge volume on break out on earnings, reading a bull SPX, institutional presence that buy the lows, and that's enough to read efficient algo markets in a long position
