Whoever paid 105 million for That, or any painting for that matter, is a dumb fuck

I don't care if some may consider it an 'investment' or they're an art connoisseur.

Funny Coincidence...I was watching The Matrix, 1999 movie...the Red pill/blue pill scene...when I randomly stumbled upon this threat topic.

 

It tells me that some people have so much money they don't know what to do with them.

 

I was in London many years ago and watch a play called "Art". Is was about an all white painting that cost one of the cast $200,000 euros. It was very funny.

Just think how much this one will go for. He didn't hold back. Obviously he was at the top of his game in '68.

It tells me that shitty paintings sell for obscene sums only after the artist had died. So why be a shitty artist in life? You can't collect the auction proceeds from the grave.
