The issue is the 2-day stock settlement. Not looking for FX or margin borrowing. I know IB offers limited margin on cash account. What other brokers offer that capability? So we do not have to wait for two days and try to remember all the settlements etc?
We offer Limited Margin IRAs using Lightspeed Trader. No leverage, No shorting and you do not have to wait for day trades to settle. You would have to qualify. If you meet the criteria for Day Trading Margin account in general, that is the hurdle. No, I can't post that requirement.
I think different types of cash accounts are treated differently. IRA is standard. But most do not offer limited margin for HSA, ESA and other special tax deferred account types. Both Schwab and Fidelity are like this. Have to watch the dumb 2-day settlement rule.
I really signed up with IB and really not enjoying the platform myself. Following for more suggestions
