Just ask GrandPa: Bond Laddering, Dividend Investing, Muni investing

Remember the saying about old/bold traders. The old traders gravitate to steady cash flow.

  5. I'm honestly not sure what they are, but you have to be very careful when working with forex. I also know that trying out demo account while you are still trying to develop a good way to trade is something that is worth while. Just be careful when using a demo account because demo trading may cause you to develop certain risk-loving behaviors that will surely ruin your live account in no time. It all comes down to trading psychology. Top Forex brokers will try to caution you against putting too much faith in trading results achieved with a demo account, mostly because such achievements are emotion-free.

Scalping, news trading, dozens of technical trading strategies. All of them carry high level of risk (some of them even more if you combine large lots and 1:500 leverages) so you can make 5K from 100$ keeping yourself in a very tight MM frame, but then lose half in one trade. Forex trading is very difficult because of improportionally high level of risk to your deposit size

    Buy and hold.

  8. I think another strategy trending as of now is The Bladerunner, it's an exceptionally good EMA crossover strategy, suitable across all timeframes and currency pairs. It is a trending strategy that tries to pick breakouts from a continuation and trade the retests.
Or you can talk about the Fibonacci Pivot Trades that combines Fibonacci retracements and extensions with daily, weekly, monthly and even yearly pivots. You should read more on this.

Moved to a Bollinger Band strategy end of last week I guess, no real time to trade it yet, but looking very promising.

Just BB 13sma Dev 2 and 24sma, simple as!!

Playing with the range for scalps or break outs for longer bigger profits.

  10. Yeah! and the truth is, trading signals generated by the Blade Runner strategy are based on pure price action. Off-chart indicators are not needed, but can always be added as a source of added confirmation. Instead, most of the focus is placed on price activity itself, which means that the use of support and resistance levels, pivot points, and candlestick formations might prove beneficial when looking for new opportunities.
