What are the Dem Commies saying about the situation in Cuba?

  1. It is kind of a conundrum for them because they are pro-Cuba but are Fidelistas.

Otherwise, the commies are not getting good press in Cuba right at the moment.

Some of the American lefties seem to be laying low because they have not gotten the official script from the White House and MSNBC yet. They are sort of going in circles a bit until they figure out how to put lipstick on this pig.

Oh, well. We know they can do it. Trump's fault. Heh, Obama went down for a state visit when he was in office and they did not even send anyone out to the airport to greet him. Didn't matter though. He still gave em what they wanted.

Might have to bring Michael Moore out of the dem's mothball fleet to pretty it up a bit. If that fat slob could pretty himself up a bit too, that would be great but I digress.

Let's face it. Dems hate Cuban Americans because so many are pro-American.

You could have just checked Twitter for the White House statement, it’s the 21st century (unless you’re Trump then you have to wait for the blast fax):

AOC and the Progressives are going to be screaming now.

  4. No, I don't follow twitter nor do I check out white house statements by going to white house websites. Never any need to because it usually gets quoted immediately across the board by the usual media suspect sites and lefties unless they are going in circles or do not really warm up to.

    Which only makes my point.

Biden is a good old boy and knows the rap and the dance on Cuba. The Hamas Squad? Not so much. Some nude mud wrestling going on in the background with some folks.

How to stand with growing anti-commie sentiments while promoting commie shit at home. What to do?

Thats good. Democrats can have a internal fight because that is all for the better. I remember when Joe Biden took a stance against medicare for all and against stopping all deportations in the primaries. The right wingers on this forum all thought he was toast but the democrat party is more moderate than the right believes and I told them all they just don’t understand the base of the Democratic Party.

AOC et al make good headlines and get attention every now and again but they are not where the democrats are as a party. If we had a parliamentary system, they would be in a different party than Joe Biden.

Well I think you’re wrong that the AOC faction is growing. I actually think a lot of democrats really like Biden and are surprised with that. If anything the moderate faction is growing on the left.

  7. No news there. Joe is a likeable guy. That has always been his calling card and always will be. His credentials start getting thin beyond that. Very thin.

And no news in the fact that dems are suddenly discovering that they may need to dial it back a bit to avoid the consequences of not doing so. ie. "moderate faction growing." Unfortunately for them, that only widens the civil war in the party because a good portion of them most definitely are still lurching even further to the left.

  8. What situation is Cuba? It's a socialist utopia and everything is going as planned. It's not quite the leftist paradise that North Korea is, but give it time.
Meanwhile we live here in the terrible, oppressive nation of white devils. A country so horrible that even those who hate it won't leave. Such miserable conditions we have to manufacture problems to complain about. :banghead:

  9. Not really. What happened there was that the dem power brokers inside the beltway discovered that their party was in fact much further to the left than they thought and was exactly as far left as the republicans said they were. Bernie was very much on the verge of getting the nomination and Jim Clyburn and others huddled to put together a plan to pull the plug on Bernie because they knew he was not electable. or thought he wasn't anyway. If they had to swallow hard and dust off Joe and prop him up then they would do that and they did.

Otherwise the dems had gone full Bernie in what they supported.
