Proper "Price TA" NEVER FAILS... there are false breaks, of course... with which a trader needs to cope... "buffer" kinds of stop-out losses, is all.
'proper TA' rarely works lol. otherwise experts like Al Brooks would have made millions. problem is everyone is trying to look for some free lunch... alpha beta gamma theta butterfly iron condor etc etc... while the big dinner feast is right in front of you and people are too blind to see it.
Do you have an example of TA failing at least one time ? Here's one example on the CAC 40 Index (weekly chart) but trade management is key for that failed breakout (small profit, breakeven or big loss)... Yet, if you look closely at the price action on the entire chart. There are other breakouts that would have produce big profits, small profits, breakeven, small losses or big losses depending upon the trade management. wrbtrader
Al's stuff does have merit... I use a combo of his ideas and my own stuff and made millions... and some of his stuff is over-thinking.
Here are two. one win and one loss 1. The Red arrow, I lost money on this trade. I thought the double top would cause a price drop. Failed 2. The Green arrow, I won money on this trade. The breakout lead to a price rise. Pass.
You guys kidding right. Actually charting this stuff. Need about 1000 charts to argue either way. But don’t bother. Nothing works lol.
