I know many(conservatives) think that the days of slavery,segregation,Jim Crow,women not being able to vote,gay people not being able to get married etc were better but Ill take 2021 over 19 or 1850.

Economically the old days were better before Reagan started us on the path to tax cuts for the rich,wealth inequality,regulation cuts,destroying the environment,destroying Unions,massive deficits and debt etc.

 

You should look up when Sherman went for a March through Georgia. If Seattle today is causing you to shake in your boots wait until you get a load of what happened during the civil war.

 

Exactly. Western civilization was A-OK when people were just getting slaughtered and enslaved for the way they were born but the problems of today are more than they can bear.
