Wells Fargo quite literally wrote the manual on how to evict people from homes for which the bank didn't hold a legal mortgage...

Wells Fargo made up on-demand foreclosure papers plan: court filing charges

Wells Fargo, the nation’s biggest mortgage servicer, appears to have set up detailed internal procedures to fabricate foreclosure papers on demand, according to allegations in papers filed Tuesday in a New York federal court.

In a filing in New York’s Southern District in White Plains for a local homeowner in bankruptcy, attorney Linda Tirelli described a 150-page Wells Fargo Foreclosure Attorney Procedures Manual created November 9, 2011 and updated February 24, 2012. According to court papers, the Manual details “a procedure for processing [mortgage] notes without endorsements and obtaining endorsements and allonges.”

  2. Wow, this sounds very shady at best? Seems like the big banks feel they can get away with anything these days.

Of course. These banksters fuck up and lead the country to the brink of financial ruin, and their shitbag lapdogs in the Bush Administration bail them out at taxpayer expense. It's as if the guvmint gave organized crime some money to compensate for lost profits when Prohibition was repealed.

Too Big to Fail == death to America

Their lapdogs are only in the Bush administration? You really believe that?

  5. Wow, 6 years after Bush and people still find ways to blame him for the epic failure called Obama.

Let's cut to the chase- Bush sucked and Obama is an absolute disaster.

    Both parties are awful!!!!

That being said, I couldn't care less that people living FOR FREE are finally getting evicted from HOMES THEY DONT OWN.

Can't tell you how many people I know that haven't paid a penny towards their mortgage in years and still live in their house. They buy high end cars, go on expensive vacations, one guy even rents his place out and pockets 2k a month.

My girl has a friend who got divorced and stopped paying her mortgage in 2008. It's now almost 6 years later and she has been living for free. Of course she hasn't saved a penny either. Spends everything then she will blame the bank after the foreclosure moratorium ends and they take the home back.

I'm glad the leeches are getting tossed to the curb.

Did I say only? Do you deny it started with the Bushies? Do you believe for a second the Republicans would let Obama reign in the banksters even if he made it a top priority of his administration? Or perhaps I should say especially if he made it a top priority, since their top priority is to oppose everything single thing he is for, regardless of merit.

It started long before these bushies you speak of.

  8. Understanding where something started instead of letting the blue blood speak is exactly the problem with the democratic party mentality. Some things will never change. Btw, it started before the Bush admin. Not saying his admin is completely innocent but come on already. Educate yourself before spouting off.
