Anyway, good time to go car shopping since we have the ice drifts approaching fast up here, and the dealers and lenders are willing to play ball. I have 2 new additions to my garage. I will post pics next week. Unfortunately I won't be able to drive them until the great thaw in late July...but worth it!
The influx of people from northern states, many seeking job opportunities after leaving areas with struggling economies, as well as the increase in undocumented immigrants, is having a noticeable impact on Texas’ car market. New car sales have seen a sharp decline, but the used car market is thriving, with a significant rise in temporary tags and the issuance of handicap plates and stickers. In Texas, it seems that for certain minority groups or non-American nationals who purchase new cars, handicap plates are often issued by default. This raises the question of whether, as handicap plates become more widespread, there will eventually be a shortage of designated parking spaces for these vehicles. As far as new cars total sales the lots are flooded with unsold units from last years models with inflated prices. I saw here on ET someone has a 2008 Gallardo, I bought my wife a new one then for 177k it listed for 244k now a Chevy Suburban is 125k list and they want list or nothing and so it sets lol. Some crazy stuff happening in the car business...

I don't track win rates...they are 100% because I don't ever sell for a loss. The only stats I track are capital allotted and pnl.
Willing to play ball??? They make you believe they are making you play ball but in actuality you aren't. Unless maybe you are picking up an EV for less than 150 bucks a month they will truly take advantage of you. Thats what all car salesmen do.... What car are you currently trying to negotiate?
You mean when he told me that I could get a better deal if I financed 2 vehicles he was lying to me?????? I got it under MRSP so can't really go wrong there...I mean interest rates are still a bit high but I can renegotiate later apparently. I never finance anything I can't pay off if I have to...I'd rather have the money for trading which is why I finance. Leasing does not make more sense than financing no matter what anybody tells you. I ran the numbers.

i am just surprised that one of our best option traders in et can’t pay cash and walk away from the any dealership with a key.-
Best options trader? Options are a total racket lol...I trade the underlying. I only sell puts or now more do buy writes for premium.
