    Hi,

I’m on the search for a website that will allow me to quickly compare a companies data with others in the same sector or industry.

Because of the way I trade, I need to get a quick overview of the quality/health of a company.
e.g. when looking at the P/E or debt/equity for BAC it would also show JPM, WFC, C, etc plus the industry average
Ideally it would have the data for a few years (5+) and the option to view by quarter or year.

The cherry on top would be if the data could be shown as a graph/chart, rather than a straight data table, as I find it much quicker view.

My main focus is US stocks, but European and UK would be a bonus.

Does not need to be free, happy to pay for a good service as it would have saved me months of work over the past years.

Quality of a company is a subjective metric.

perhaps it would make sense to find a service that provides tables and you build your own graphs based on how you weight the different criteria (fcf, leverage, rev growth, etc)

  5. I currently use them to get the data I use for comparisons, but haven't seen how to compare on the site.
e.g. looking here: https://finviz.com/quote.ashx?t=BAC how would I see the same data for JPM, WFC, C, etc.

That's essentially what I am doing at the moment. Taking the data I'm interested in for the related tickers and bringing it together. But it's time consuming and I had hoped to find a site that presents the data in a usable format. e.g. if I want to see how the fcf for BAC compares to others in the industry I currently need to go to the relevant pages of all tickers, copy the data to excel for each of my criteria.
Over the years I've gotten into a flow and it doesn't take too long. But it does make it feel more like a job then it needs to. And if there is a site out there automating something that feels easy to automate then I'd rather use that.

Never heard of the site before, but looks promising.I'll sign up now and give it a go.

If anyone else has ideas I'm happy to hear them.

Stock Rover will let you create a table of stocks passing a custom screen or simply stocks within the, same industry..

There are over 500 fundamental metrics, plus you can create your own..

I have zero affiliation with the company, but have looked at almost every fundamental screener/backtester on the market..

Finviz is decent and free, but not in the same league if your focus is on fundamentals

  7. I've signed up and it's daunting at first view.
I'll take some time to go through it, can't workout how to get the chart I want (debt/equity of all the related tickers on 1 graph), but I'll keep looking.

  8. ok found it, can only do 1 ratio at a time and need to manually enter the tickers but it's a good start.

Puit them on the same table...A graph will be a mess

Under navigation,go to Sectors>show all industries..It will populate the table..Then Click on the Industry you are searching for..

All the metrics will be in the tabs at the top of the table
