Its time we got the bottom of Obama's spying on his political enemies. Obama's police state tactics must be exposed. We need a special counsel to find out who knew what and when they knew it. These crimes cannot go unpunished. According to democrats, it should be illegal for a group of citizens to pull their money and run political ads on tv and the internet. At the same time, they have no problem with Obama using American's intelligence apparatus as a tool to gain opposition research against his opponents.

The statement was made in a Friday court filing related to a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed by American Oversight, a liberal watchdog organization founded by former Obama administration officials. “Both the FBI and NSD confirm that they have no records related to wiretaps as described the March 4, 2017 tweets,” the DOJ wrote in the court filing, obtained by Fox News. We know members of Trump's campaign were being tapped. Who ordered, why and what did Obama know? There is not a debate of whether this happened or not. We know it did. Its time to get to the bottom of it.
How do you know? Manafort was tapped in 2014 and then AFTER he left the Trump campaign, so how do 'we know' what you are claiming? And if we do know,why isn't the Trump DOJ admitting to it instead of denying it? Also, Obama cannot order a wiretap since Republican Nixon went around tapping people, FISA prohibits the President to do it. There is debate because you guys offer no evidence for your claim while Trump's DOJ refutes your own assertions. It's time to get to the top of it first before you get to the bottom of it.
I agree. If only republicans controlled both houses of congress, Trump were president and he controlled the Justice Department. Then he could order them to look into it or appoint a special counsel. Plus, we could gain access to all documents pertaining to such wrongdoing. Instead, we have the bizarre situation where it is Trump who is being investigated by virtue of an idiot in his own DOJ waffling under slight pressure and appointing Mueller. The government continues to stonewall demands for relevant documents, both from congress and public interest groups. The election apparently changed nothing.
There is only one political party in Washington and its called 'The Establishment'. This whole 2 party system is nothing but a sham to make the people think they have some control over the direction of the country. Of course Trump is not part of the Establishment and is an outlier. He was able to do what he did because he was independently wealthy and already had a sizable following before he got involved in politics. The Establishment will do everything in their power to destroy Trump to make an example out of him because Trump is usurping power from them and that is simply unacceptable. They are sending a clear message to any other outsiders who may be thinking of running in the future.
