Interesting product. On demand, unlicensed ISM microwave beams transmitted to demanding low power devices 5-15 feet in a room to charge batteries as needed. Impressive tech concept. Nikola Tesla redux. My question would relate to market acceptance of the RF exposure and interference issues. Rational/irrational. Would like to know more about the beam forming tech. I doubt their pockets are tiny given freq, antenna size and device location issues. I could imagine a number of existing ISM equipment mfgrs looking really hard at this as being a potential source of interference. Price is also an issue. They are competing with a USB cable and the total lifetime effort to plug it in. Consumers are fickle. Vendors' judgement about consumers' acceptance can be worse. Needs high volume to get unit prices low. Other question would be can they create a multivendor critical mass level of interest where the consumer is literally dragged into buying their tech. Clearly they have their marketing work cut out for them. Success will depend on broad acceptance by getting through the door at 20% of the handheld device companies that hold 80% of batt powered market.
