I've just made a sizeable investment. My investing track record is terrible. I seem to have a knack for picking dogs. Nothing I've invested in has ever done well. And I hold on to these laggards for years. Basically, I'm a jinx; with the opposite of a Midas touch. Anyway, you can't say you haven't been warned.
Unless you're managing other people's positions your past performance is irrelevant. You might attain better performance through trading bitcoin instead of sitting on it.
It is time for you to learn how to trade. There are big differences between an investor and a trader. INVESTOR - doesn't like the bear market - can only press the BUY button first - tends to see any charts as an uptrend <<< quite true? very true? TRADER - likes the bull and bear markets - can press the BUY or SELL button first There are lots of investors out there. so there are lots of terms designed especially for the investors. terms like - HODL hold on to dear life - averaging - dark cloud cover - catching a falling knife - bottom fishing ..... are for the investors.
At least you didn't buy near the top of the bull market at $69k. Even if the bottom isn't in, you've avoided -65%.
What are you, 12? The guy is obviously joking. Situational awareness. Apparently, it's not for everyone.
