WAR only makes stocks go up when...

  1. If anyone's ever read Jesse Livermore's work, WAR makes stocks go up... BUT that only happens when US puts American soldier's boots onto the battleground!

All this noise about Russia attacking Ukraine... Meaningless!

Just look at what happened to Mr. Market post Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics! Same thing will happen again... Beijing still needs to finish the Paralympics 2022! BUT of course, with a slight change, the decline will be slower, same amount of decline as post 2008, but slower --- it might take till 2023-2024 to reach the bottom!

Mr. Market is anti-China. Anything China does to better itself (namely host the Olympics) will be met with a bear market!!

Before the US bombed Iraq during the Saddam era, the whole world stock markets were dead.

After the evidence of Iraq's Weapons of Mass destruction was presented to the UN, the US started to bomb Iraq massively.
Then whole world stock markets went up immediately and massively.
Till today, there is no Iraq WMD.

In 2003 just before the second Iraq war started, the markets were near the extreme bear market lows of 2002.

Had the markets been near the 2020 lows last month, instead of being near all time highs, we might of got a bigger and longer rally when the Ukraine war started.

Aside from the Iraq wars, those earlier wars came at a time when the US actually made stuff and did not run a huge trade deficit every year. So back then we actually somewhat benefited from increased consumption because we were mostly buying our own stuff (financed by the govt). Now we're trying to beg Venezuela for oil and the Saudi's won't even return our calls. Cancel the Keystone pipeline, approve Nordstream 2. Give up energy independence. So no, things are not like they were in the past.

There's videos floating around of trucks from Germany still moving into Russia, with ,,classified" cargo.

US worst off economically now than in decades past. We continue to export US jobs thru outsourcing especially now, that is why nobody criticizes the Chinese for their human rights abuses if the price is right, NBA and its stars, Lebron James look the other way, why not? They are paying cheap Chinese labor including, political prisoners maybe, $5 per sneaker pair they sell for $200-$300 a pair. Our borders are wide open and you have vicious criminals and terrorists just crossing over into the US. An out of touch, incompetent Joe Biden cutting Russian oil and blaming inflation on Vladimir Putin (he is probably, laughing his head off)? We have a $30 trillion and rising, deficits that continue to erode the dollar. War on oil by Joe Biden and his ilk of green energy special interests only interested in billions in subsidies for their green energy buddies? No, we are in uncharted territory although, common sense will easily tell you that US citizens will continue to suffer economically, end up slaves working for the Chinese for peanuts because your no good politicians you love to vote for, sold you out.
