Far as I know, none of the men served because they all frickin' died too young, and had had the kids in between the wars where the next gen was too young to serve. They were likely raised in soft suburban neighborhoods and have no idea what it means to go get something for yourself. They have underacheived their entire lives but because of low acceptance standards they got into college and may have graduated. After graduation they realized that the Art History degree that they pinned their hopes and dreams on wasnt worth a damn. Now life has thrown them a curveball and the trophies are coming in anymore. If they want something, they are going to have to earn it, and they dont like that. As a result they go looking for Twitter feeds or Youtube videos that might highlight injustice because if they can identify injustice, it just might explain why they are such big losers. You see, in their minds, its not their fault, it is some unjust system that has kept them down. They have come to conclusion they cant build themselves up, so they must tear other people down.
